Ballantyne wants to keep out mixed-income housing. Thoughts?

Also, the longer the WASPs of Ballantyne fight these kind of issues, the longer the rest of Charlotte will perceive the area as a soulless, Stepford-esque bastion of cookie cutter craptopia with no discernable character or redeeming value of any kind.

(over the top?)

LMAO. Like they would, or should, give a crap about what the rest of Charlotte thinks. To hell with what the rest of Charlotte thinks.

The have-nots will always hate the haves. But Obama is working to take the haves down a notch or two. Those evil bastards!!

Low income neighborhoods would not have the stigma they have if police would do their job the same in those areas as they do when they are in better areas. Reduction in crime and jobs to keep people busy are the answers to these problems.
