I'd like to announce that the team will not be placing the franchise tag on Julius because we would like to give him the opporotunity to test the free agency market in order to determine what the open market feels he is worth in the face of an uncapped year before offering him a comparable long term offer which we are confident that he will agree to. Yeah, there is a list of some 25 players other than Peppers that updates are needed on. If the only thing he talks about is Peppers, no matter what the statement is, I will be pissed.
