Can you rephrase the question into a non retarded one?

:D

It's not. No one said it was more important. The jobs bill passed last week with support from that new maverick from Mass. voting yes.

Time to pass health care.

I sure hope these Death Panels don't kill Gramma......

Another opp for a smart health care fix. Contractors should be able to either buy into a CO Op. Pooled money to lower costs and spread out the risk/leverage.

We had that, it was called the "Public Option". Too socialist, evidently.

No it is not.

A buying Co-op is a far cry from a government run and provided healthcare.

Last week...right. Where has he been the past 13 months? Oh I don't know, taking care of BIG BUSINESS instead of employment like he should have. Now it's too late.

When you inherit 2 wars (unfunded I might add), the biggest deficit ever, the worst economic situation since the GD, companies failing, and records of people being kicked off their insurance daily, you gotta start somewhere.

So sue him.

And his answer is to take that existing deficit and grow it 10 fold. Try again to blame someone else for his stupid actions. If he has his way, he will bankrupt this country.

It was well on it's way to begin with.

Wasn't this much bitching then.

That's a fact.

You know it is.

I personally thought the tax cuts should have been immediately repealed as soon as we were engaged in the Afghan and Iraq wars.

I have no issue in repealing them now.

My issue is that Obama is hell bent on increasing spending to levels that are flat out unsustainable.

Just because we are in debt now is no reason to kept going further and further down that rabbit hole.

I don't care whether you are an individual, family, company, or government.....you CANNOT sustain continued deficits. Eventually the piper comes calling for payment.

With that logic, every president can blame his failures on the previous president. That's not a valid answer to the question. None of you Obama supporters want to admit things could have been done to avoid the on-coming economic turmoil because he didn't go that route, he chose to throw away our money to other interests. Besides, as much of a dumb@ss as Bush was, he got the Democratic congress to sign off on all of his spending, including Obammie.

I agree with your last point. But that's all. At least we can agree on that. I don't think for one second he's hell bent on spending. I think he wants health care for all.

I mean, the greatest country in the history of greatest ever of all time history (lol) doesn't insure it's people.

Italy does. And it costs about 2k a year to go to the best college in Italy. Go figure.

Damn foreigners always trying to outdo us.

Yes, we need to rein in spending. I agree. But rein in it by pulling back on the wars, unneeded weapons, planes, bombers, etc....to go to these unneeded wars imo

It is not the responsibility of others (whether it be individuals or governments) to GIVE anything (including healthcare) to somone who just sits on their ass and accepts another subsidy.

Don't get me wrong. There are people out there who are doing all they can to make ends meet. For these, I am all for helping. It is just the droves that would rather accept a welfare check, food stamps, etc.. and sit home playing X-Box. When you have generations that remain on these subsidies their entire lives...then have their children join in the handout....something is wrong with the program.

Programs should help people try to improve their lives....not support their lives. Otherwise, there is absolutely no incentive for them to do anything to keep that hand out.

And I agree with all of that too.

Damn, lookie there! LOL

We just go about it differently.

I'd rather have waste control methods in place on all social programs than cut them or start over.

Agree on that point.

No one wants to fix the broken programs we already have. They just want to add more programs.
