:lol: umm i kinda liked him....is that a bad thing?

He owned Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper anytime we played the Vikings.

But apparently off the field, he was dumb as a box of rocks (at least per Meat).

Bears let go of Jason McKie.

He's four years younger than Hoover, a decent blocker and has done a solid job paving roads for guys like Thomas Jones and Matt Forte. He was let go not for performance, but because the Bears were going to be more of a pass heavy team with Mike Martz as the OC.

There's a veteran guy I wouldn't mind seeing us pick up.

His last contract was for less than a million a year, just a quarter million more than Hoover was making.

I'd do it. Don't know if the Panthers will though.

Wonder if he'd lobby for the Panthers to look at him.

Sounds about right. He was an uber athlete, but made such bad reads it was beyond belief.
