methodtoll 48 Report post Posted March 6, 2010 Gantt has the latest Panthers free agent DE Tyler Brayton’s visiting the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, but the Panthers aren’t sitting idly by. League sources said the Panthers have had conversations about New York Jets DE Marques Douglas, though no visit has been set up. The soon-to-be 33 Douglas (a native of Greensboro), has played nine years in the league. He broke into the league with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent from Howard, and has also played for San Francisco and New Orleans At 6-2, 290 pounds, he’s more of a fit as an end in a 3-4, but he could help provide some of the run-stopping ballast the Panthers would be losing if Brayton walked. http://www.heraldonline.com/665?plckController=Blog&plckBlogPage=BlogViewPost&insiteUserId=ded44479-eff0-4fb5-98bf-9edb9d130913&plckPostId=Blog:ded44479-eff0-4fb5-98bf-9edb9d130913Post:456ce4df-303d-4eaf-8120-57049ca24122&plckScript=blogScript&plckElementId=blogDest

pantherfan49 598 Report post Posted March 6, 2010 He is a solid player that stops the run. He won't get to the QB though. He is a lot like Brayton.
SmootsDaddy89 2,190 Report post Posted March 6, 2010 Since he's older, would he technically be Brayton .5?
