Because he's still inexperienced actually playing the game.

Vets that have been around a while often see things the younger ones don't.

(that's actually true at any position, but especially at QB)


It's not Moore is a rookie, you know? He has been with the team for 2-3 seasons so he has learned behind Jake enough to step up.

i would like for him to just have an experienced set of eyes out there holding the clipboard and giving suggestions. i don't know about the whole mentor thing but i would like another player out there on the sidelines who can help out.

still thinking mccown is the best for the job.

Me too.

Scherer has done well with Moore so far, but he never played in the NFL (hasn't played at all in 30 years). Having someone with recent NFL experience is a good thing, same as it was to have peete for Delhomme early on.

was scheduled to spend a day in Seattle and then go to Arizona...either of those two makes sense. Seattle is still showing interest in Kolb as well...but I think the asking price is going to be far too high there.
