The heavily-guarded Wonderlic test scores from the NFL Scouting Combine have started to leak out. From the Twitter page of Palm Beach Post writer Edgar Thompson:

Gators QB The Golden Calf of Bristol scored a 22 on his Wonderlic, Jimmy Clausen 23, Colt McCoy 25 and Sam Bradford 36 out of 50, per NFL source.

The Wonderlic, a timed, 50-question exercise, tests the aptitude of draft prospects. The official results of the tests are distributed by the NFL to the 32 teams after the combine, with scores occasionally leaking out. Other noteworthy QB scores that have been reported in the past: Ryan Fitzpatrick (Harvard) 49, QB Matthew Stafford (Georgia) 38, QB Mark Sanchez (28), Michael Vick (20) and Vince Young (15, after getting a 6 on first attempt).

You can tell Vince Young is dumb as hell just by watching interviews of him.

Vince Young got a six on his first attempt? Did he get that much for writing his name?

wonder what Matt Moore got..

these scores are really for the most part useless, I'm pretty sure they're only given to gauge how easy it might be for a player to learn a whole new playbook.

Dan Marino - 16

reason enough that they don't really matter :P

According to Dan Morgan, Moore couldn't learn the playbook in three years. He's probably a single-digit guy. ;)

Well he aced the first half, then gave up and quit on the second half.

If you have never taken the Wonderlic, it is an interesting test.

You have to be brain dead if you cannot get at least a 35. The questions are a joke.

I don't care how good Marino was, it doesn't change the fact that he's an idiot.
