Oklahoma Sooners

I watch Oklahoma play several times...and they are a very good team.

However, they LOST to Texas on a neutral field. Oklahoma got a gift by the BCS to even make it into the Big 12 Championship game.

Both teams had one loss and Texas beat Oklahoma......definition of the word screwed.

And I hate Texas as well.

SEC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Big 12 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pac 10

The Golden Calf of Bristol is going to bend the Sooners over and have his way with them. If not The Golden Calf of Bristol, Harvin will. Hell, the entire Florida offense will run the train on them.

No offense but the SEC this year is weak. Outside of the top 2 Alabama and UF, there really isn't much at all. Ole Miss and UGA the 3rd and 4th best teams lost to WF (mid tier ACC and GT 3rd best ACC) so i'd hardly try to compare the SEC to the big 12 this year. Also worth mentioning is Vandy lost to Duke when everyone was saying Vandy would go undefeated in the ACC

So, you're saying Tech should be in the Big 12 Championship game?

Wrong. If you want to say UF>>>>>>>>>>OU, they'll have to settle that on the field. But as a conference top to bottom, the BIG 12 is significantly better than the SEC, or any other conference for that matter.

If you're going to complain that the system isn't fair, I can agree with that. But if you're okay with the BCS and think that UT should have gone instead of OU, you're off base.

I would have been fine with either UT or OU going. OU just had more high-profile games at the end of their season than Texas, which is why they're in the MNC game, like it or not...

Texas had already beat those high profile teams in the middle of the year except texas tech which won on a fluke last second TD play. Oh and they beat Oklahoma.

OU beat two non-conference teams that ended up winning their division, one of which is in a BCS bowl. They also thumped TTU and beat OSU as soundly if not better than UT. OU also lost earlier in the season, which like it or not is a big detail.

Obviously it's not a perfect system, but I think UT can only complain so much about not going. If they could have played a shred of defense against TT in the 4th quarter, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
