Brown has done more than any of your current starters at end.

Brown has done more than Suh.

It's about perspective. He's aging and it's Logan's Run around BOA anyway.

Not to mention he was cut by the Bears after their attempts to trade him failed. Yeah, you know you're probably getting about 5 sacks and a couple FF from A. Brown. I just feel like Everette Brown is already capable of at least that much. Calling him garbage may have been a little over the top, but I'd rather start Charles Johnson or Everette Brown.

He's 30...he still has a few seasons left.

I'm not calling him great or anything more than a solid, decent player. We're expectign anything more than that either...Ellis and Smith are the anchors of our line. Just disagree with the term garbage.

OK, I won't call him garbage, but I would have been upset had we traded Harris for him. We could use an average LB with potential more than we could use an average DE. Brown probably wouldn't start here and if by some act of God he did, it would be because the staff was giving up on Everette. There was literally no benefit to trading for A. Brown.

Alex Brown is basically Tyler Brayton

you can't really call them garbage, but you can't call them great players either. they line up and do their job in the most average way possible

Brown has just had a more consistent career than Brayton
