Haynesworth lining up next to Pep? Are you kidding me? It'd be a bloodbath. Who the hell would you double?

i think we should pull the trigger. i know most of us want to keep peppers and gross, but i just dont think gross wants to be here, if he did, he would have signe the offer we gave him. i have no answer for how we would replace Gross' performance on the feild, but with the salary-cap going up, and not having to sign a first rouner, we CAN afford peppers and haynesworth. maybe the drop off in offensive production would be more than made up for with muchg better defensive production?

No on Lucas, Rosario (might as well say it), and Brayton

We actually could afford him depending on other cuts/deals.

You guys always forget the magic our FO does when it can.

It's within the realm of possibility, and the lack of a first rounder heightens the need to sign a good free agent.

With that said, I still put the notion that we could somehow wind up with Albert Haynesworth or Nnamdi Asomugha under the category of wishful thinking. If we get either of those guys next season while still managing to keep Gross and Peppers, I'll shave my head.

Apparently. But, like I said prior to the season, the Panthers should have traded Smitty for Boldin
Nobody comes close to Smitty's drive to pull in the ball. No deal. Bolden is a great receiver, but heads up, this year, I stay with Smith. Also, an emotional leader who can fire up the team with any big play. Chicago needs a receiver, right?

He would be a perfect addition (on paper)

Peppers-Haynesworth-Kemo-Brayton

Not. To. Shabby.

But who knows how he'd affect the locker room

    • To me this off-season it makes the most since to keep CAP or Foz if it comes down to those two. CAP may be average, but that's as a 1st and 2nd down back which CMC, & Whit are not at this point from a full time perspective.  CAP is the best option to maintain a physical runner in the event (likely-hood) Stewart has to miss a couple games as he tends to each season.  I think it's common sense at this point. If we look at Stewart for what he is ''right now'' aside from pass protection there is not '' a lot'' that really separates him from CAP in my opinion, a few years ago it was a bigger gap, but at this point in Stewart's career he's becoming just a power runner, CAP is the closest we have to that.
    • Dummy, come on man.    Rivera and DG tanked that game for a high pick. You guys know nothing about running a team.    The question now is, do we as huddles think you're a decent poster anymore. Answer is "no".
