Definitly... though I am happy to see Boychuk do well and can't wait to see him in a Canes uni.

Tavares is a #1 pick for sure.

Can't believe I missed this post!!

3-2 vs Sweden in OT!!! What a game!! Still have it on my TiVo...Tavares is the rrrreal deal wow! Hedman too...it was great though having the crowd boo everytime he touched the puck ( i think he threw a punch, which isn't allowed in World Jr Comp ) I would love to see the Leafs somehow ...blew a 3-1 lead against Florida...McCabe wins it in OT...what a joke eh! One player I really like on this year's squad: PK Subban. I think the Habs have him in their system but he's fun to watch...will be interesting to see how all these kids pan out...glad that Schenn wasn't playing :-D (man is he good or what!)

Go Canada Go!

That game was amazing!!!! Couldn't of been any better...

not to mention the Top 2 incoming players to the NHL were showcased.

The Canada/USA game was a great one too...hard to remember though...

    • OL model is probably Dallas and they committed to drafting talent. Two legit first round tackles and a late first rounder at center. Only first four rounds for them: 2011 Draft    Round    Pick #    Overall    Name    Position    College
1    9    9    Tyron Smith    Offensive Tackle    USC
4    13    110    David Arkin    Guard    Missouri State
      2013
          1    31    31    Travis Frederick    Center    Wisconsin
2    15    47    Gavin Escobar    Tight End    San Diego State
      2014
1    16    16    Zack Martin    Offensive Tackle    Notre Dame
      2015
3    27    91    Chaz Green    Offensive Tackle    Florida Panthers during the same time frame, in all rounds. 2011 Draft    Round    Pick #    Overall Pick #    Player    Position    College
6    38    203    Zachary Williams    Center    Washington State
          7    41    244    Lee Ziemba    Tackle    Auburn
      2012
2    8    40    Amini Silatolu    Guard    Midwestern State
      2013
4    11    108    Edmund Kugbila    Offensive Guard    Valdosta State
      2014
3    28    92    Trai Turner    Offensive Guard    LSU
4    3    102    Daryl Williams    Offensive Tackle    Oklahoma
        Luckily 2014 panned out.
    • Panthers have met with potential second round safety and combine phenom Obi Melifonwu     Begin exuberance now
    • Hoping the details show a pay cut, not a Hurney style restructure pushing guarantees down the road for a player who is past his prime.
