A leader being a leader.

People like to knee jerk more than anything. People are scared of change.

This team is younger, an hungier. I pitty the team that faces us. Do I think we'll be dominant?

No, but I know we won't be a walk over.

Beason sounded optimistic, but not convinced. As a leader that is what you should do, though he used tenative language and not concrete. To me, he's got his reservations. Jon does seemed stoked about the 'unkown' of the coming year.

Makes me proud to be a panthers fan. I like when the players are more devoted to the team than I am. The way it should be

Beason is the Ray Lewis of our defense, I really believe the guys on that side of the ball are going to feed off him and there going to be better people expect.

Ray Lewis won't let that defense be bad. He expects everyone to be perfect. Which you have to admire about him. He is a HOFer and I believe Beason will make our DEFENSE in the mold of Ray Lewis's Baltimore Defense.

Several people are gonna burn me at the stake for this, but...

Jon Beason will become better than Ray Lewis ever was. To hell with any of you who would think different.

Which is something I definitely see coming because now he can have full control of the Defense. I think the last two years he really couldn't do it because of the vets that was on the team. But now that there gone the keys are all his and I sure he's going to get the guys pumped up every game.

I love Beason as much as anyone, but this statement is insane.

Ray Lewis in his prime was the best middle linebacker this league has ever seen. I know Beason is an outstanding player, but he doesn't have the natural talent to be that type of player.

Having said that, I believe Beason is a perinnial probowl player, that is currently and will remain to be the heart and soul of this team.

He has the tool and leadership to do it, we just have to keep the players around him that can help make that happen. And he also has to stay healthy as well.

wait, a leader on the D that can lead?

having beason and harris on this team will keep them competitive no matter who is on the field. he is one of those special players than makes everyone around him better.

excellent role model for our young, hungry core of players in place.

That a big question for now. I think Beason might be close to been better, but no cigar. But personally, I don't care. I just want him to kick ass harder than ever & keep up the leadership. Amazing how a guy in his 2nd season became a leader already. I hope his leadership will fuel the fire to the team & they will stay hungry to win at any costs. And never give up until the 4th quarter timer buzz.

Jon Beason played Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun and won.

Jon Beason was what Willis was talking about.
