this kid might actually be better than lloyd. that hang time is going to be really nice for getting the coverage guys in place. i could see more fair catches and some better placements inside the 20.

why would we get rid of one kickoff ( only) specialist and pick up an unproven one?

what's to prove? either you can kick off well or you can't. it's not like you have guys running at you trying to block or anything. more than likely we will be saving $750k by replacing lloyd with this guy.

LOL at Samuel L coincidentally finding a link less than 60 seconds after he posted his rumor. Pretending your Panther insider on a message board is a little sad.

Lol.. glad you said something.

Damn people...

First off where did I pretend to be an insider?

I got a phone call with the rumor, came here and posted it, and immediately looked for a link to back it up, because I knew some people would be all like "link?"...

It wasn't hard to find, considering it had been posted a couple hours before I heard about it on MLive...

I'm sorry if you can't Google something and copy and paste the link in a matter of 60 seconds... but I can... get the fug over it and stop trying to make this thread about me and whether or not I have any inside sources... I do a good enough job of that to keep you worryin' about what I say, apparently...

If this thread was about us getting Jake or Hoover back somehow, he'd be all over it busting a nut...

No

we're talking kick off specialist. much easier to find.

since we will probably be keeping kasay until he can't kick FGs anymore or retires we will have to live with the reality that we will be using a KOS and they will be short timers with low $$ tags.

this guy doesn't seem like much of a drop off if there is any drop off at all from lloyd. remember that lloyd was pretty much ignored by most teams prior to us picking him up. in fact we were about the only team who used one that year. now teams are popping up all over the place using them. there are plenty of big legged guys who can boot the ball downfield who have accuracy issues. as long as we can find them we will be fine.

I bet he'd be the first to say "post a link or you're full of sh*t!" if you hadn't posted one.

I have to say... Fox and Hurney have one redeeming quality... they have scouts everywhere pulling in obscure talent.

Looks good on the vids. Hopefully he'll pan out in a game. Hope he knows how to throw a block on a receiver.

seems to me it might be a hell of a lot different in a real game
