I didn't really understand Gantts lobe affair with Griffen...also interesting was they sound like they have given up on dwayne jarrett. It would be funny if we drafted gilyard and he got a copy of that chat

Damn, it sucks I missed the live chat today. Would have loved to have gotten their take on the probability of us possibly picking up WR Andre Roberts in the 4th or WR Marcus Easley in the 6th(if he falls that low).

Yeah, the Griffen love was... odd...

I have Griffen rated on the level of a third rounder on my board... hahaha... overrated as hell if you ask me...

Isn't he basically a clone of Brown ?
If so thats the trick.
He fits this "mold" everyone has been blathering about.

No. Hughes is the Brown clone. Griffen is bigger than Brown, though he still has that quick first step. His larger size makes him better against the run.

That being said, he has some character issues.

Mardy Gilyard is a team player, and wants to win no matter what... That is what I get from that video...

He felt betrayed by his coaches, and rightfully so... He wanted folks to know, they were going to still be the Cincinnati Bearcats...

Sorry, but I would love to have a guy that loyal to my team...

How can you not like a guy like this?

The man was homeless... a position he put himself in by not doing what he was supposed to do...

He overcame that, and wreaked havoc against some of the best DBs in the country...

How anyone can compare him to Keary Colbert, or say anything negative about his character is beyond me...

I agree..But I could see the panthers passing on him in the 2nd for BPA reasons but he would fill 2 needs.

My main concern is

why do 49 percent of the poeple who voted on that pool think our O-lin is our biggest need?

You could vote more than once, and it was probably someone having a little fun...

He gets off some of the tacklers I have seen pretty well... Not as good as someone like Dez Bryant or anything, but he can hold his own...

His speed, quickness, and agility make up for his lack of bulk... even though he can hit the weightroom pretty hard if he needs to...

Again, Smitty wasn't as cut as he is now when we drafted him...
