It's real hard to evaluate this draft. A lot of these guys have amazing upside, but they are risky.

as in to many Db's and qb's, this draft was good for 2 wr's a DE, and a OLB and that was it

I give it a B+ and not a A only because of all the CBs we drafted. If it turns out Marshall really wont be with us this year, then an A because they filled the need.

Based on needs/value at this moment I'd have to say: B to B+.
By having even a fraction of these guy's work out in the future (Clausen, LaFell, Edwards, Norwood, Gettis, Pike), I'd have to revise that and give it a possible A.

they get a D for taking pike over jarret brown , trading for armanti edwards .. and taking 2 corners ive never heard of in a row and a SLOW reciever from baylor who RUNS AWAY from contact.. Kyle Williams was still on the board!!!!! .. had they not gotten eric norwood theyd get an F

High risk with potential high reward. It's refreshing to see them grow a pair.
Plus I am of the belief that you can't just play it "safe" all the time, risks must be taken.
Safe for the Panthers = never ending cycle of average.

We equaled every great pick with a very questionable one. Like Delhommey said, this draft is risky. Just like our whole offseason...the season should be exciting

and on the DL argument that some have used. We invested draft picks (from this draft) in 2009 on 2 DTs. The Panthers didn't forget about that.
