[Smitty Is Our Savior]

…The draft didn't go as well as I originally though and I'm kinda pissed.

• It's like nobody has faith in Moore yet. Does he really need 2.5 rookies to back him up??
  
• We still only drafted one D linesman.
  
• I don't understand why we picked up Wallace Wright along with all these WR draft picks. Now we have 7 wide outs, even though we're a team that rarely uses our #3 guy.
  
• Armanti Edwards could've been snatched further down.
  
• Do we really need three more defensive backs??

I thought the draft went well considering who the picks actually are, but all together… Some picks just seem like wastes.

Don't get me wrong, they were all great picks, but we barely addressed our D line, which was our biggest concern entering the draft.

why didn't we trade next years number one??? We coulda drafted that guy!!!! Next year is gonna be teh suck draft and probably won't have real players!! !!! I like turtles!!!

I think the unusually large amount of DB's was because of Richard Marshalls uncertainty. They might just want to throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and pray something sticks.

yes draft more d-lineman. bc we didn't use TWO of this years pick in DTs in 2009. and we didn't sign any d-lineman right after the draft. and we won't sign another d-lineman before the season. i need to take a break. the idiocy on this board is dumbfounding.

I was wondering the same thing regarding the DL situation but with all the DL that were taken in the draft, Fox might be preparing to garbage pick and make a DL out of those guys. Similar to what we did with the OL a couple years back

You're all tearing me up about this, but of all teams in the NFL, we don't need to draft 3 wide outs. Yeah, they can help on special teams, and yes, we can cut Jarrett and Kenny Moore. But our D Line has no depth what so ever. We could use free agency I guess, but I don't see us being very active at all, as usual.

Hoe does the DLine not have depth? You should recheck the roster.
If anything depth is the strength.
