I cant take LeBron serious anymore. This series will be forever in my memory.

I doubt it.... we have to be reasonable and objective here. It can be argued he still has not peaked in his prime yet. If he wins 3,4,5 rings in his career we will take him seriously and this memory will be pushed to the back. Same thing happened with Manning, Elway, you can say KG and others.

Never once have I seen Manning, Elway, or KG give up and play without desire or a sense of urgency.

it has nothing to do with being on Kobe's nuts at all...the guy takes over ball games when they are on the line. He's a flat out closer regardless of your thoughts on him or the Lakers!

Do I think Kobe is a overall better closer.... Yes. I think Kobe's jump shot is better and can make those clutch shots down the stretch....

However lets not act like Kobe has not been in the same situation as Lebron!!! I remember PLAYOFF games where Kobe would not shoot the ball in the second half because he was proving a point.... Or doing whatever, and frustrated. He got killed in the national media, talked about because he could not win a ring without shaq, and criticized the exact same way as Lebron is getting today.

My point is now Nobody remembers or talks about that series!!!! After winning, your past issues are forgotten. Lets not act like Kobe has not had the same issues.

And to fair, yes if you win you get all the credit, lose the blame. However the Cavs does not have a #2 dominate player on their team. This is fact. Kobe could not win without a strong #2 on the team.... Shaq left... they lost... Paul came... they won... The difference is teams can strictly gameplan for LBJ... I think with the lakers teams have to more so gameplan for Gasol, Odom, Bynum, and that Laker size and length. That's the difference. When teams only had to worry about Kobe it was fine... now Kobe and shaq, Kobe and Gasol... that creates issues. Look and wade and shaq.... Won a title together... Wade by himself... can't get out for the first round. Having issues just making the playoffs.

I am not defending LBJ... but we have to keep things in perspective. LBJ is no where close to being in the same situation as Kobe.

Well see my post above.... Kobe has. Do you not take him seriously??? And he has done it more than once.... How quickly we all forget.... My point exactly ;)

well...remember winning??? Bron Bron ain't won poo yet!!!

and as far as Kobe and not shooting, that was to shut up the critiques who said he was a ball hog and one dimensional etc. People always forget that he's a world class defender as well.

You want to build a championship team, you start with Kobe!

I don't remember Kobe ever having 8 or 9 turnovers or how many LeBron had...in a must win game!

and one more thing...of course Kobe couldn't win without a strong #2....in case you have forgotten....basketball is a team sport!!! Can't win without a strong 5 and a strong bench these days. Again....LeBron has Shaq and they lost!

Come on now.... I know you are not saying that present day shaq is a strong #2???? The "Shaq" Lebron has is no where close to the shaq that Kobe had...

I agree that basketball is a team sport... and you can't win without a strong #2 (History has repeatedly taught us that) .... That's why we have to keep the Lebron criticism in perspective... That's all I am saying...

You have to play physical with Rondo (I think Nelson will have to do this to make him a non-factor).

If Nelson tries to play physical with Rondo he will get burnt. Nelson just isn't that type of player on offense or defense.

And Rondo outplayed Nelson in all 3 matchups in the regular season. I don't expect this series to be any different.

Well i was talking about Kobe winning a title post shaq.... That took away the bad memories from his post shaq days. Call it what you want, but he was being hammered in the media for that (oh I will just pass the ball) act or whatever... you don't try to prove something to the media in the playoffs.

My point is that if lebron wins titles, Just like Kobe this will be forgotten. Just like Kobe's negative history is distant memory... so can this be in his future.... I just don't buy all this legacy talk, and we will never forget this, or I will never respect him when the man has not even reached is peak yet. That's all I am saying. Trying to keep things in perspective here.

Yes him and his team executed horrible last night! They gave no effort in game 5.... Game 6 I felt they gave a lot of effort (Until the last minute) but were out executed. Myself, I have even said that last minute was one of the worst I have seen. I just watch that last minute back.... With 60 seconds left down by 9, Nobody boxed out, or hustled for that rebound... then they gave up... no fouling... continued to stand around... LOL mike Brown was yelling to do something and they did nothing.

This can all be forgotten in the future.... but he has to win.

I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just saying that I think it will be the most reliable method of shutting down Rondo.

Uhh... yeah... Shaq isn't a strong #2. In fact, Cleveland has no #2 (this series proves that, I think).

Do I respect him? Yes. Do I take him seriously? No. The man cheated on his wife. He is a piece of poo in my book.
