Will be in Charlotte tomorrow for a show at Ovens. Where would be a great place to eat in the area? I do not eat meat so your favorite rib or steak place won't work for me.
Other than that...I'd like some opinions.

Wish I could help. I've only eaten at Morton's, hooters, and tgif's.

I recommend Panthergal's house or Guigrrl & Cyberjag's house. Both places were fab.

It's kind of sad in a way but a lot of the times when in uptown and I eat in a restaurant I don't really get the name of it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had to leave at noon so did not see this in time. Looked it up and sounds great. Will definitely try it next time I get a chance.
I ended up at Portofino's o Eastway. Had a very good meal.

Portofino's is really good.
I went there after googling restaurants near Ovens and reading the reviews. Was not disappointed. The show at Ovens, Wicked, was very good too.
