I love SS, but.......
I'm not a huge Moss fan, but these are some compelling stats.

BS

WHy didn't the author show the improvement in the Raiders' QBs while Moss was there? Maybe because there was none?

The reality is that he started with a team with a decent QB, a decent running game, and quality on the other end of the line (Minnesota with Cunningham, George, Culpepper as QBs, Smith as RB and HOFer CArter as WR). He went to Oakland where he had crap and performed like it, then landed in NE with Brady, a decent committe of RBs (Maroney, Morris Faulk) and Welker on the other side and he excelled again.

It ain't all about Moss.

Take a second look. It's pretty clear he mislabeled the 2 columns.

He had the skill set to be the best ever, but he didn't have the work ethic or the heart to do that.

Yeah, and when Moss left Minnesota, what happened to Culpepper?

You've got to be pretty ignorant to not think Moss is one of the best receivers to ever play the game. Seriously.

I checked Moss' stats...he mislabeled everything. Or just made it up.
7 years with Minn
2 years with OAK (not included)
3 years with NE

Not as ignorant as somebody who chooses to put words in anothers mouth. Nowhere in my post do I say he isn't "one of the best to ever play". I only pointed out that he had advantages. There's no way to say that other WRs wouldn't have produced in those same situations.
