Mustard is American like apple pie and hot dogs.

I like mustard. All kinds. Even the super spicy the brits put on their steaks.
I could never ever put mustard on a steak.

I like ketchup on some things... mayo is OK, depending on what kind it is. I've never liked mustard... don't even like to smell it.
Me neither.
I got a burger from Cookout and I told them to not put mustard on it.
Lo and behold when I unwrapped it when I got home, I smelled mustard. The whole burger was covered in it.

what I don't get is ketchup on eggs, I'll make eggs for breakfast on the weekends and they'll be perfect. Then my wife will douse hers with ketchup, ugh

Same here. I love a good horseradish or jalapeno mustard.

Marinades that have a little mustard can be delicious with steak.

:iagree:
You're just not American if you don't like a good, spicy mustard on a Bratwurst or Frankfurter.

No doubt, but using mustard like you would a steak sauce (although a properly prepared steak will need no sauce) is just not something I'd do.
