And had Kasay hit that FG in the wind against NYG we would be celebrating a win over Philly right now and this talk would seem silly to the nth degree.

The Eagles would have beaten us as well, most likely.

I've been telling my friends it was a bad matchup, but I didn't think we would get the poo beat out of us.

I didn't see it coming but I will give you 5 reasons.....

1. Jake played his worst game of his career
2. Way too much Super Bowl/Undefeated at home talk all week
3. Our secondary/Turgo and his weak zone coverage
4. A very talented Cards team was motivated by being the "under dog"
5. Jeff Davidson called some bad plays for his first post season game.(Steve Smith)

I didn't see this bad of a loss coming. I was sure our offense could bailout our defense. But a weak 12-4 is nothing now. Just a puff a smoke. I don't understand this team at all, running got you into the playoffs and when you get there what do you do? Throw the ball?! Sometimes Coaches out think themselves instead of doing what got you there and dare them to stop you.

Now about changes, I only know one for sure and that is Turds.

If they had played tonight's Panthers' team -- and ff they had gotten to Delhomme like the Cards did, of course you're right. But Whisenhunt drew up a great gameplan tonight that I don't think Andy Reid could have replicated. I think we probably would have beaten the Iggles at BofA in this round. Although I think we would have beaten the Cards 8 times out of 10 if we kept playing this game over, too.

Who cares, this is all idle speculation now, but I think AZ matched up with us much better than anyone on this board realized, and that we would hve been in good shape against Philly.

I agree that coaches will out think themselves but before a bunch of dumbasses start posting about unnecessary passing, ,most of you dumbasses on this MB were all about writing a whole bunch of "cool" passing schemes for our "O".

He's referring to when people would say we are 8-2, 9-2.... and a few of us who say so what! Where are the dominating blowouts? No, we gave mercy every week and and that made this team weak and play with no confidence half the time. We were very lucky to get 12 wins. Tonight proved that.

i didn't call the playoff loss,or predicted it.i've been saying this since the first arz game,to the last saints game.this is the playoffs and if you don't bring your a game you will get embarrassed,we tried that same sh*t that work on these non playoff teams agaisnt arz and got our ass molly whooped.i've said time after time jake worrys me,the defence is sketchy and fox doesn't play to finish the game.....you wanna know what happens,a game like the broncos pops up and we look like were ready then the game like the saints pops up where our d gets slashed and gashed and people like house blow it off.

so motherrf*ck anyone who wants to throw insults out

p.s thank you jangler for trying to explain to this ignorant ass de de de what i meant.

What is up with the bye week? What are these guys doing? Watching soap operas and eating grill cheese sandwiches all day.

Or why can't you see that we were never as good as 12-4 looked.

Like they just said, it was all a puff of smoke. We are not as good a team as we all hoped we were.

Honestly It seems like they don't do a damn thing, and that's on the coaching staff.

I was afraid of this all week. Everything was pointing to the Cards winning this game. The worst part is that NO ONE, not even the people on this site who are used to the Panthers failing them, gave the Cards a chance.

If the Panthers were in the Cards position I would have been 100% sure of a win.

The jinx was on in full force and there was nothing to be done about it. Today my life is terrible.

Of the 3 possible teams we could have played AZ was not the one I wanted.... ATL I felt we would handle here along with Minny who won on a fluke.... AZ was killing us last time here and we won on a miracle with SS staying in bounds on one grab, they had the revenge factor, a probowl QB, an all universe WR and they flat out stomped us.... I guess they played possum well during the last 3-4 games of the year because everyone had this team written off
