LeBron & Bosh to the Bulls (not official yet) Rumor

If true, I bet Cleveland will probably get Deng back in a sign and trade deal.

If they solidify the SG position, that roster would be completely nasty. If I were Flip, I would be pressing hard to stay in Chicago and be the starting SG.

The Cleveland GM would be signing his death warrant if he does a sign and trade.

Who wants to be the guy to pull THAT boner?

Not gonna happen.

I'm not counting any chickens before they hatch, so these are just rumors until any deal gets done.

Am I excited about the possibility though?

Darn tootin'.

What exactly did the Cavs do to ever help Lebron?

Jamisson' date=' Shaq, Mo Williams.....not the front offices fault that those players didn't live up to the expectations they had set for themselves...[/quote']

Lebron gets more money in a sign and trade, Chicago clears up a bit more cap space by disposing of a player that won't see the court much, and Cleveland gets an all-star small forward back in the deal.

Yes, but perception is reality.

If LeBron walks....he walks. You as the GM of the Cavs offer him everything you possibly can, including promises to rebuild around him...and he leaves.

He is the "bad guy". Note: He isn't, he just wants a better situtation.

If you sign and trade, you are essentially "giving up", and as the GM you are forever known as the guy that traded away Lebron James for X player.

While this is most likely the best way to get the most back for a player that is LIKELY walking away anyway, the PERCEPTION is as stated above.

So basically no one knows and they are all throwing things out to say they were right. I think Stephen first started saying he will be in New York.

To me, if this is true it cements MJ's legacy as being greater than LeBron's even if he wins an NBA championship every year for the rest of his career.

When Jordan came to the Bulls, they were nothing. When Lebron came to the Cavaliers, they were nothing. Jordan stayed the course, let the team build around him, and then willed them to championships. Lebron failed to do that and is now bolting via free agency with another superstar to manufacture NBA titles instead of earning them, he's buying them. An absolute fraud.

Lebron to the Cavaliers was of storybook nature. Ohio boy makes good. It all the makings of a lengthy and record breaking career.... but he steps on it for the Bulls.

Forever tarnished.

True, but that does not really diminish Lebron in my opinion. Not many players are skilled (OR lucky) enough to go to a bad team and then do well. There are a lot of factors involved, including other players, coaches, and just straight up $.

However, I think Lebron should stay with the Cavaliers. With the Cavaliers, even if he does not win a championship, he will be known as a really good basketball player. If he is with the Bulls, there will always be that phrase "and in 2010, he joined the Bulls...".
