What would happen, and what kinda of mismatches could we create if we had Boris Diaw play the point forward. our lineup would look like this...

PG - Boris Diaw (DJ Augustine, Sharon Collins)
SG - Stephen Jackson (Gerald Henderson)
SF - Gerald Wallace (Derek Brown, McGuire)
PF - Tyrus Thomas
C - Tyson Chandler (Theo Ratliff, Nazr Muhammad, Diop)

We could use the host of Centers to back up Tyrus. This would utilize Diaw's strengths believe it or not, and be a cost effective way of resolving our PG position. Doubt this happens, but would be a cool lineup to try. Also, im dreaming a little so cut me some slack.

I am 100% for that, then we could call him "3D" again. Also the year he played point guard (2005-2006) he had one of his best years in the NBA he averaged...

13.3 points per game
6.9 rebounds per game
6.2 assists per game
1.0 blocks per game
0.72 steals per game

That season Diaw also recorded 4 triple-double's (two which were back to back) and 15 double-double's.

Here are his season high's from that year...

Diaw's Season High's (05-06)
Points- 34
Rebounds- 13
Assists- 13
Blocks- 4
Steals- 3

This is what we need right here.

Ha, if you didn't grab a rebound, the other team would be off for the races.

You would have no choice but to play a healthy dose of zone defense. It might actually work for a game or two, but at some point teams would prepare for the zone defense and bust it.

Also, part of this game plan is acquiring Al Jefferson and playing him at the 2, so you will need to modify your depth chart some.

I actually like the idea. Boris had his best year in the NBA when he was playing point.

maybe im not so crazy, and with boris' length we might not HAVE to play as much zone...give larry the reigns with diaw and he might develop into something special.

You keep spewing crap out of you mouth I see... You might want to pick that up.

Do you not understand that you cannot make it throught the season with 1 point guard on the roster?

The biggest need is getting another one not a Center/PF which we have 6 of.

The Bobcats have SH_T in the middle. If you name ANYONE that they currently have playing center, your f_cking tongue should fall out.

You idiots are only interested in something FLASHY.

Any two guards can bring the ball up the court. You don't need a SUPERSTAR PG to make it through a season. Not even Jameer Nelson was considered a "SUPERSTAR."

Without Dwight Howard, what would the Magic be?

The 2009-2010 Bobcats, that's what.

You put a player that could be YOURS, like Al Jefferson in the middle of the Bobcats line up, surround him with Wallace and Thomas, and you have a top 5 team in the East.

Get an above average PG ONLY, and the Bobcats still are no better than they were with Felton.

Well we had Raymond Felton last year who is not above average and we finished 7th. Get an above average point guard and we will be a 5th seed.

Btw as far as the Magic. If the Magic wouldn't have had Nelson then they would have never beaten us in the playoffs.

Also what is it with you calling people idiots? Are you a thirteen year old girl on her first period or a fifteen year old dude that is socially depressed because he has no friends because he calls them idiots all the time. You may want to fix that.

why does this guy have a man crush on Al jefferson?? Yeah, he'd be a good addition but its more likely that we would get a better pg considering the handcuffed position we are in at C. We have plenty of C's who played decently as centers by committee. but then again i guess we should trade g-force for al jefferson.

I have no idea. I would welcome Al Jefferson on this team but right now he does not fit with our system. In the front court we have Alexis Ajinca, DeSagana Diop, Tyson Chandler, and Nazr Mohammed at Center. Tyrus Thomas and Boris Diaw at Power Forward, and finally Gerald Wallace, Derrick Brown, and Dominic McGuire at Small Forward. 9 of our 12 players play in the front court. That leaves us with 2 pure shooting guards in Gerald Henderson and Stephen Jackson who cannot and I repeat cannot play point guard. Then we have D.J. Augustin who has not showed the capability of leading a team.

I'm not saying that he's more important than trying to get a good PG, but Al Jefferson would give us one hell of a frontcourt.

Oh I agree, but I just want to get one more point guard before we focus on getting another front court player.

you would wonder if we would trade one of those front court players for a pg, probably chandler's expiring contract. ik there were rumors of that earlier, but who would be a suitor with a pg that theyd give up for tyson chandler?

Whats wong with adding Shaun Livingston? 24years old height: 6'7" wingspan: 6'11" free agent point guard. He averaged 15.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.3 assists in eight April games last season (rotoworld). 4th pick in the 2004 draft. He's full healed from his
devastating knee injury (which happened in a game aganist the bobcats in 2004). If anything he can backup DJ.

lol you have no clue wtf youre talking about. just gtfo.

1) youre right, we dont have a very good middle, but all we need them to do is play defense and rebound which they do a pretty damn good job of doing

2)i dont see where we said we wanted something flashy

3) no, not any two guard could bring the ball up the court. would you want Hendo or Jax bringing the ball up the court every possession? exactly

4) lemme ask you this...what would the Magic be without Jameer Nelson

5) I dont want Al Jefferson. Why? He doesn't play defense, plain and simple. All he wants to do is score.

6) Felton was an average point guard and we were 7th. Get an above average or very solid PG and we're top 5

stop calling people idiots too, because you're the only one on this board thats an idiot. and KT, but thats a different story
