2005? Really?

2006 - 1,180 yards 13 TDs
2007 - 1,355 yards 15 TDs
2008- 1,052 yards 10 TDs
2009 - 829 yards 5 TDs with arguably the worst group of QBs in the NFL.

Moose hasnt had a 1,000 yard double digit TD season since 2004. No comparison. Owens >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Moose

2010 -37 years old. And I said nothing about Moose.

in my eyes, this is still a no-brainer. throw the guy 3mill, and have a reliable #2 to throw to for a year while Lafell and Edwards groom. even if he is a locker room distraction, our guys can suck it up for a year and possibly make a run at the post-season. hell, i would've signed the guy back in march or april. and it's not like John Fox hasn't had a locker room cancer cell before... i.e. Keyshawn Johnson... just sayin'

37? So what? You think he'd slip THAT bad in less than a year? And you quoted TO's and Moose's stats, that's why it seemed like you were trying to make a point about Moose.

But this thread should end right about...now, he ain't coming here.

Yeah, so with the MeShawn experiment, what happened at year's end? Oh yeah, the Panthers realized that they didn't need the locker room cancer and cut his bum ass.

And picked up Dwayne Jarrett, so far that decision has turned out well.

Yeah that experiment has failed, but that is all DJ and nothing to do with Meshawn. The point is that the Panthers took a flyer on a disgruntled productive WR that the OC had some experience with and still cut his ass after a productive, yet bitch-filled, season. Expecting anything different from TO is wishful thinking.

I say why not. Adding a mediocre player to a bad team is never a bad idea. At least if they lose games there is a goat.

I say sign TO and trade Jarrett away for a 1st rd pick next year

if it happens .. we will be lucky to get a 3rd .. so do that and go for a 4th or a 5 and 7
