But we dont have all rookies, Moore and Jarrett will be adequate enough until the rookies develop. Its not like we run 3 WR sets. I would hate TO being a Panther because when I want Panther news it will be all about him. Plus hes taking away reps from the rookies further setting back their development.
DING DING DING DING!!! We Have a Winner!!!

Nobody is arguing that he isn't a great player. And I think most people feel that Owens - although he always disproves it - is READY to GROW UP!
BUT that's not the point. The point is, the Panthers like the Seahawks have some young kids they want to try out. If you bring in Owens, it's like your saying, "we have no faith in you..."
Yes. If you want to WIN NOW, trying your luck on young unproven talent doesn't make sense --- but that's the point - the team doesn't want to win now! The Panthers are convenience there will be a lock out. Their goal is to get through this season. That's it. There are no short term goals and any desire for quick fixes like Owens.

I know he is a clown but he makes us an instant contender.
Smitty,williams,stew,T.O. is an offense to fear.
With how strong the NFC now is, we need him to compete.

1. he would make it impossible to double team steve smith all of the time
2. he is very strong, and would be a great blocker when called upon
3. he could help john fox keep his job
4. he has lots of experience, and could help teach our young wide recievers the subtlety of the game.
5. he is a playmaker.
6. he would be a tall red-zone and 3rd down threat. the only other tall recievers we have are either rookies, or un-proven (lafell and jarret)
7 and he would be a deadly addition to our offense as a whole.
he wouldnt be as good of an addition as anquan boldin or brandon marshall would have been, but his experience would be benificial to our young team, and he would play for alot cheaper too. OK, i will quit dreaming now...
