it makes sense from a logistical perspective (there are a ton of muslims in finance and there are no mosques in that area of town,) and it makes sense from a real estate perspective (securing that amount of real estate in that area is nigh impossible.) Is it insensitive? yes. Would it be nice if people were generally more respective of each other? yes.

All that aside, the fact remains that they have every right to do what they're doing and as such it should be defended.

And I'm not playing dumb, you're starting to argue like jangler. AFL-CIO, really?

Just to clarify, conservatives are upset because the state isn't telling a religious organization what they can do with their private property, correct?

The every right to do what one does is cool, until it's the dreaded NIMBY scenario.
