Very homerishly :D

I feel bad for Kentucky fans who still think that "this is the year" every single year. Just give it up dude! If you couldn't beat our 5-7 team two years ago with Woodson, then you just aren't going to do it. Also, why are you betting on an Ole Miss loss but an Auburn victory. I'd imagine you have those backwards for the teams they'll have this season.

As for the Vols, I'm a realist...

6-6

Wins over:

UTM

UAB

Memphis

Ole Miss

Vandy

Kentucky

Losses to:

Oregon

Florida

LSU

Georgia

Alabama

South Carolina

Honestly, if we beat Texas at home in October, I think we have a pretty damned good shot of being in a BCS game for the first time in too long.

I am worried about the A&M game in College Station, though.

I am rooting for you guys. Bo Pelini is my favorite coach not named Urban Meyer.

I don't have any "this is the year" feelings about this year at all. I think Joker is taking over a team that has a lot of potential and some young players that can make a difference this year. And I see you noticed that I wrote "very homerishly" so I think you did nothing but make yourself look bad with your jabs at me. No worries. You feel free to be realistic/pessimistic/douchebaggeristic all you like. I'll be over here in candyland chasing rainbows and dreaming of 8-4 seasons. :D

I thought Unicar did it justice. I was clearly mocking the fact he thought they could beat LSU, VT, GT, MIA. They might win one of those games at the most. Their offense is one of the worst in the NCAA.

I think NC State will have 6-7 wins this year....any more than that and it will be a great season.

We can go 10-2 just as easy as UNC lol

UNC:

Sept. 4 LSU Atlanta, Ga. W 24-14

Sept. 18 Georgia Tech Chapel Hill W 17-10

Sept. 25 Rutgers Piscataway, N.J. W 30-7

Oct. 2 East Carolina Chapel Hill W 42-17

Oct. 9 Clemson Chapel Hill W 20-13

Oct. 16 Virginia Charlottesville, Va. W 28-10

Oct. 23 Miami Coral Cables, Fla. W 31-30

Oct. 30 William & Mary Chapel Hill W 45-3

Nov. 6 Florida State Tallahassee, Fla. W 17-14

Nov. 13 Virginia Tech Chapel Hill W 21-20

Nov. 20 NC State Chapel Hill W 1,268-0

Nov. 27 Duke W Infinity-(-)10

USC Trojans

>@Hawaii: W-55-24

>UVA: W-49-17

>@Minn: W-37-14

>@WSU: W-45-10

>Wash.: W-21-17

>Stanford: W-38-14 (the wheels fall off the offense without TG)

>Cal: W-24-14

>Oregon: W-45-17 (In L.A., remember Oregon game in 2008, look for a repeat performance from that game, also Darren Thomas is NOT Jeramiah Masoli)

>ASU: W-31-17

>@Arizona: W-24-10

>@OSU: L-17-24 (offense starts slow in Corvalis again and we lose a fourth straight heartbreaker in the state of Oregon)

>ND: W-35-14 (Brian Kelly will turn the Irish around but not in year 1)

>@fUCLA W-38-7 (It’s fUCLA, need I say more…)

I imagine some people on this board will laugh at this prediction, but the truth is the Trojans 2010 schedule is extremely favorable. There are no marquee OOC matchups like most years and the best schools from last years Pac (outside of OSU) have major holes.....

Wow! You have a great sense of humor.

I was just picking with you about the UT over UK win-streak. Nobody took a jab at you. How exactly did I make myself look bad? And who exactly did I make myself look bad to? If you really are a Kentucky football fan, you're going to need to develop thicker skin. By the way, that was just another joke, so don't get your feelings hurt.

As for my "douchebaggeristic" (but I was apparently the one making jabs) prediction for my team, I think 6-6 would still be taken by most Tennessee fans right now. With zero experience at offensive line, DT, QB, and DB, I'd say we've got a tough road in the SEC. Six wins with our schedule will even be tough.

Peace be with you.

I mean there is hoping for the best and then there is just being homerish. You guys are not going to beat LSU in SEC country. It just isn't going to happen. I know you guys are talented defensively but I hate to break it to you...LSU is still better on that side of the ball. 10-2 is laughable when for the 3rd year in a row you still don't have a QB that can put up consistent points.

So he gave UNC two more wins and you gave NC State two more wins. How is his prediction more "homerish" than yours? You're basing your opinion on the hope that NC State's defense will get better, and he's basing his on the hope that UNC's offense will get better. UNC was only a couple of plays (and a QB) away from 10 wins last year, so I don't see how 10-2 is any more unrealistic than NC State going 7-5.

Also, the LSU game is in Atlanta, which is ACC country just as much as it is SEC country, if not more so. UNC won at VT on a Thursday night last year, and there is no way that crowd in Atlanta will be anymore hostile than that.

Favorable schedule for ASU this year with most of their tougher conference games at home. I think they can run the table in the regular season (outside of UF, obviously) but I wouldn't be surprised to see a loss on their record headed to Gainesville.

Well, your team gets on ESPN all the time, gets top recruits, gets multiple players into the NFL, and gets Heisman trophy winners. Hardly a reason to be sad...:)
