While the Carolina panthers are heading in a new direction in QB so has the browns by taking a gamble on Jake Delhomme.

Jake delhomme has attempted 23 passes this preseason and has completed 18 for 193 yards 1TD 0INT with a QB rating of 116
While Matt Moore has attempted 24 passes and only completed 10 for 89 yards with 1INT 0TDS. A QB rating of 35.
Panthers also drafted Jimmy clausen in case Moore wasn't what everyone thought he was. Jimmy hasn't been lighting it up either.. Hes only completed 17 out of 37 passes for 152 yards and 2ints. With a QB rating of 35.

Did the Carolina panthers give up on Jake to early? Will this decision of cutting their franchise quarterback bite them in the ass? Only time will tell..

No. Any half-intelligent fan knows we made the right decision in cutting Delhomme. Besides, preseason stats mean absolutely nothing. Let's see how they do in the regular season.

I might give him some props for the packers game...maybe. I will not give him anything for the Rams game.

wait... you think we might regret cutting Jake? By the end of the season Jake might not even be able to play after he plays the Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers Defenses 2 times each

Jakes problem toward the end was his inability to deal with pressure...no pressure in the preseason...

Jake needed a change of scenery. I kind of thought he'd have a decent season up there. Down here, if he farted in the wrong direction he was getting booed off the field. He was trying to do too many things to make up for the AZ game and it mind f*cked him.

Good for Jake. Hope he leads Cleveland to the playoffs.

Now onto Matt Moore and Jimmy Clausen.
