HISTORY! Get over it. We have and had worse desasters.

The oil spill bothers me in the same manner.

Just to note, some of my family lost their home and much of their belongings due to Katrina. I'm sure they don't feel it is "history", but I also don't hear them talking about it every other sentence like the media has done for such a long time.

Still a lot of problems in the gulf coast, I am not going to give the media a hard time for talking about the 5 year anniversary on the 5 year anniversary. But in 13 days if I hear about 9/11 I will splode! splode like a plane!!! like a plane.

The media will continue to talk about Katrina until the next big disaster happens. Thats the way of it. Before Katrina, it was 9-11. Before 9-11, it was Oklahoma City.

Until we learn from that history, Speed...and until all those responsible for negligence are brought to justice (on up to the White House), then every single thing needs to be talked about.

Watch this and you might think differently.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am getting over all that sh!t. I will say, sorry for anyones loss. I knew the day the big K hit that NO would survive. Hey! It's New F. Orleans. As for the losses, I visited the gulf coast a coulple years. I had business in Ocean Springs MS. The people that owned the business had revamped their business with newer, state of the art, high dollar equipment that they never would have otherwise been able to afford. Having dinner at their house we were told of the awful flood that had made it nessessary to repair their home and replace the appliances. They had the wine storage thing like I had never seen, it was full too.(but that's a different story. One of the employees was at that dinner as well. He told of his project of making up a bunch of tee shirts. "I survived Katrina". He had an image on them of one of those little thailer RV things that people use for camping. He could not get them made fast enough. He made a fortune. The biggest problem they seemed to be having was figuring out where to go to get their checks. The government replaced what was not insured. I guess if the truth be told, I got a profit as well. We were updating his Linix, and replacing a system that was not that old.
