#1) Looks like Gettis, Martin and DJ are battling for 1 or 2 spots?
#2) Would they dare cut Brayton, because Moore is still there.
#3) Another cut on OL.
#4) 2 more LB to go?
#5) How many DB will we keep?

Keep us updated!!!

looks like 4 will make it out of:

Vaughan
Savage
Duckworth
Crummey
Moore
Hayden
Neblett
Ware
Senn
Harris
Culberson
Stanford

So far the PS is looking good, Jackson was a good rookie FA pick up and I love Guys speed. Don't know if Gettis would clear waivers, he looked really good on ST also. What about Sutton, is he safe? I say that because, Goodson has looked good and we be the third down back and KR, and 4th backs are pretty easy to find. However, he is good on ST.

Moore - I think this is a no-brainer
Neblett - He was pretty darn impressive
Harris - I like his energy
Stanford - Good tackler, pitiful in coverage, but that can be fixed.

I am still wondering about the 2 backs and why they are still here? Is Sutton in danger? I guess LB will be the toughest choice.

read somewhere that Nic Harris made the 53. I guess Gantt's column about him this morning was a clue.

Well we did trade S Harris for LB Harris, you know how the front office hates to admit mistakes, Take Jarrett for instance... a perfect example of a wasted roster spot and he was #2 round pick.

Harris was traded for LB Jamar Williams, not LB Harris, who I think was claimed off waivers at some point. Don't let me stop you going on about admitting mistakes, though.

Final roster RB's should be Williams-Stewart-Sutton-Goodson........

LB Culberson gone. LB Ware gone, but agent says Panthers' want him on the practice squad.

carolinagrowl

Looks like Panthers to go with 7 Lbs: Jon Beason, James Anderson, Dan Connor, Jordan Senn, Nic Harris, Eric Norwood and Jamar Williams.

Special teams will be an adventure again this year now that Witherspoon is gone (he was brought in specifically for return duties) and Trent Guy is out as well. Probably the best 2 return guys on the squad thru preseason...

They may turn loose another DE knowing they can use Norwood there as well.
