Myself and a few honorable others have committed to begin fasting at Saturday at 1 until kickoff. I believe this gesture will not only demonstrate our devotion to the Panther Nation but also purify and prepare ourselves for victory. Furthermore, barbecue at gametime will taste extra delicious.

I invite all to join the cause.

P.S. Beer is not included in the fast, obviously.

Well, he isn't eating if he drinks beer. Monks used to drink beer so they could fast for longer.

Fasting as most people do today for religious purposes, the most popular reason for fasting, is not eating or drinking at all. I was comparing it to that. Of course you can do just one, just seems like if you're committing to one you should do the other. To each their own.

How about instead of fasting, which sounds like a crappy way to show how much I care about the Panthers, I will shove my face full of wings and beer during the game tomorrow. Also, I vow to stand and scream at the television every time it doesn't show me what I desire to see.

Does starting Moore over Philip Rivers in your Fantasy league count as showing devotion for the Panthers?

Very true. However, I am allowing beer because I equate the beverage with glory. Panther Glory. By game time, the only substance in my body will be Panther Glory. About a case of it. I suggest everyone does the same.

Also, I religiously follow the Panthers. The monk analogy is fitting.

Got 5 to 1 odds that xclown doesn't make it to kickoff before he passes out.
