This made me feel much better. We just got hosed on our home field by a team paying out 30 million dollars less than us. Great.

Well if you want to feel better, I think Jake counts for $12,000,000 and he's in Cleveland. Thomas Davis wasn't on the field either, so there wasn't as much of a gap as it appears.

As much as I want that to help my state of mind, it didn't.

I think we're around 80 million if you don't count the dead money (all the money we had to pay all the players we cut) Which realistically means we're on of the very bottom teams in spending.

According to Forbes, the Panthers are the 12th most valuable franchise in the NFL. I think we are valued at $1.6 billion? Too lazy to google the article.

The Saints will not repeat, that overrated Defense will catch up to them, if not in the regular season, in the playoffs

I think this article can shut up people saying we're bad because JR is cheap. The two cheapest teams are 2-0 and the Cowboys who just throw money at players is 0-2. We're not 0-2 because our owner is cheap but we're 0-2 because our organization from ownership/management down to players make bad/questionable decisions.

We are 0-2 because coaches/mgmt never bothered to get a good successor to Delhommey, and stuck with him for entirely to long.

lol we released tons of vets so we can have some extra cap space next year and eat it this year. A lot of that money is from players that are not even on this team anymore. I am surprised at how many so called panther fans don't know this.
