found this on wikipedia (updated with link to every assistant coach in nfl as well)

http://upload.wikime...ching_Trees.GIF

http://en.wikipedia....l_League_staffs

It Illustartes coaches that stemmed from Bill Walsh, Marty Schotteheimer, and Bill Parcells.

After looking at this and scouting potential up and comers all day at work I am officially in favor of a retread.

Almost all of the best offenses in the nfl, have the head coaches calling the plays, with the exception of Indy and maybe a couple of others.

Defensively most of the really good coordinators look like they inherited a good D.

In addition to coordinators I looked at W.R. coaches, and Offensive Line coaches.

Not much out there in up and comers imo

I dont follow college closely so dont bash me, but it seems Jim Harbaugh's heart is in college and will stick with stanford or land his dream job in Michigan.
