One of the brightest, young defensive minds in the league, Sean McDermott enters his 10th season in Philadelphia. McDermott was named secondary coach on January 28, 2008, after a successful one-year stint as linebackers coach last season.
"I don't think there are a lot of secondary coaches that are as good as Sean McDermott," Eagles head coach Andy Reid said. "He was a phenomenal linebackers coach and, really, his versatility I just think is second to none."

Up and comer looks exactly like what the Panthers need as a Defensive Coordinator. Great blood lines under Andy Reid and Jim Johnson.
Let's got get 'em.

He was good playing that one-armed doctor on ER too.

Acting like you agree with Fox could come in handy round these parts...

McGinnis looks to be set to take the Titans job. McDermott and Herman Edwards currently top my wish list (admittedly Herm is in the top spot).

Shouldn't Trgovac be fired first before we start thinking about adding a DC?

He should definitely stay away from helicopters.

Wasn't one of the new coaches looking at him for his DC job.

He's been rumored to be a hot choice for a couple of DC jobs.

Having a guy from the Jim Johnson school of thought is intriguing to those of us who hate the "bend don't break" approach.

Herm Edwards is still my top choice now, but I wouldn't object in the least to McDermott. He could indeed prove to be the better choice.

With 56 returning next year, I hope Rivera remembers his 4 years at that school.

Are the Bolts going to keep Rivera on as the permanent DC?

Fox won't hire someone who will run an aggressive D.

Henning ran a conservative gameplan, so does our current OC
Trogo runs a conservative gameplan, so will our next DC

Fox is the headman, and has yet to catch the flak.

Yeah, after the turn the team took after canning Cottrell, his job was the most secure among the coaches. We're about to hire Steve Wilks (who worked with him in Chicago) as secondary coach.
