"I had a lot of great memories down there, so it's going to be emotional, But once the game starts, all that stuff goes out the window."

"They attempted to re-sign me a couple years before, but not at all the past year. They wanted to go a different direction and I did, too."

"This one time I pooped my pants during a game - they didn't want to negociate a contract with me after that because I'm so immature"

Reporter "so Julius how do you feel about being the team captain"

Peppers: smiles goofy, tries to speak...stops ...tries again....and smiles some more

Ok i just completely made that up

getting quotes from Julius Peppers is like separating Sam Mills Fan from terrible ideas

Are some of you just jealous he left? Hurt he left? Players leave. It's a part of life. He didn't cause drama or badmouth us in any way. Why so butthurt?

But it will feel great when those pretenders start falling. At least we don't owe him 90 million to help us almost make the playoffs.

Seriously?

So him demanding to be the 3rd highest paid player in the ENTIRE NFL wasn't a little ridiculous?

Him wanting to be paid almost a million dollars a game and not doing poo unless it mattered....thats not ridiculous?

The gay thing I dont really have a problem with, its just hilarious. The story(ies) I heard made it even moooore funny.

I'm expecting a huge game out of him this weekend. He'll probably hear a lot of boo's, so I expect him to be fired up. Sorry a** Gross better be on his game this weekend, or Clausen is going to get hurt. He already took out Stafford.

It'll be nice to see #90 back. Been in Carolina all of his life and had the oppurtunity to try something else, I dont blame him. Plus, he made the right choice in leaving this disaster of a team

never demanded anything

Demand, request, either way you wanna put it, he wasn't worth that kind of $$ for the effort he was giving.

It was blatantly clear he didn't want to be here anymore, especially after the Vikes game.

Edit: He DID put in effort in that game.....note that it was nationally televised.
