That's what preseason and TC are for! I know he wasnt used to running cuz he was a qb, but you are still are a professional athlete; their just isnt an excuse. Well hopefully he does better with this chance.

It's a Hurney-speak for him saying: "He doesn't look like he can play the position we drafted him for, but rather than having egg on our face, we're going to say he doesn't have his legs under him yet."

I took "he doesn't have his legs" to mean, "he has no idea how to run routes".

i think it means he hasn't played WR since high school so he was getting winded early and often so he wasn't as fast and explosive as he was in college. dude was learning a new position. christ.

I love how people expect a college QB to be an awesome WR overnight. How many punts did he return in college? How many routes did he run, or passes did he catch? Yeah it was lame to spend a 2nd round on him. Give the kid a season under his belt before you judge him.

I expect him to be able to run!, I know learning the position will take years. This is the nfl not high school football.
