Fella who knows a thing or two from another board did some research on him. He called him a QB technician. His career is mostly as a college coach, and he's done well in that arena. Even worked at one stop with panthers OL coach Dave Magazu.who the hell is he? never heard of him in my life...
His being a "technician" could well make him the "anti-McCoy", actually working with QBs on their mechanics rather than just saying "throw how you like". People will expect that he'll likely have more impact on Matt Moore than on McCown or Delhomme, but I wouldn't be too quick to rule out his having an effect on the veteran guys.

Think,
Jake (our QB) just had a horrible game, piss poor decisions and bad throws. We get a new guy who has something to prove.
You better believe that he will work with JAKE to get better.
= improved QB
Great timing no matter what. It will be great for JAKE to learn some new tricks
(and he has a history w/Davidson so the transition will be smooth)

I think the timing might be better than the pick......

IMO all of our QBs last year Regressed this year. Moore and Jake were both horrible with Mechanics and how many times did we see Delhomme hold the ball too low and get it striped or over throw a WR and even extend plays well over the time he should have. This can all be fixed.

REASON== He is ALWAYS trying to make a play.
Thats just who he is.
I accepted that a long time ago.
