I read this, and there are some valid points. But, I believe that Eric Quackenbush is basically a quack for saying that Peppers has had an overall "mediocre" performance as a Panther. The guy must have spiked his Peppers hatorade. I do believe that his points about getting value for Pep are quite valid. A trade involving Matt Cassel is very interesting.

A final possibility of which might be feasible, would be to trade Julius Peppers to the Chicago Bears in return for their quarterback Kyle Orton, depending on what his contract status is and how willing the Bears management would be to part with their "lesser of two evils" quarterback.

The only suggestion I like is that we make a trade with Oakland. I'm not convinced that Cassel can do well everywhere and anywhere, especially on a run-first team like ours, and Orton is a dud.
