Do you think most posters on here are going to know what that means?

Rams v Chargers...seeing how a rookie QB should look :)

you DO realize that bradford, ryan, flacco, roethsburger, and marino are the exemption, not the rule?

Bradford has looked great... but different situation is different. I do hope the Panthers can learn from other teams and how they handle their rookie/young QBs and adjust the gameplan accordingly.

YOU do realize that the trend lately is that rookie QBs have come in and played well. To this trend Clausen is the exemption. Hell even McCoy looked better than Clausen today and it was his first start against arguably the best defense in football. Sadly Clausen is behind the curve but you will always give him the benefit of the doubt.

That Rookie looks much better than our Rookie.

That offensive line is light years better than ours.

There has been more rookie qb who sucked/didnt play their first season than ones who have looked good.

You know you're doing poorly when every thread turns into a complaint about multiple positions on your roster. =(

The Browns and the Rams both look superior on O - even when the QB isn't throwing zomgamazing throws.

Still, all of us are QB'd but rookies now, and we'll all have our ups and downs. McCoy had some great throws and some abysmal ones.

I would agree but this discussion wasn't about ones who sat nor was it about the past. Recent history shows that rookie QBs can come in and play decent, not great, not terrible. Sadly, Clausen has played terrible therefor we must use the "rookie" defense with him.
