On defense yes you are correct.
He should get an extension as soon as possble next season, go ahead and lock him up for awhile.
He can and will be the Ray Lewis of this D. Leader, vocal and by example.

And you can do that with the 2 RBs and Kalil, Otah, Wharton, and Gross (pending). And I just hope Vincent is back soon. Young foundation across the board.

I agree and he might take it a step further. I know for the Eagles, Dawkins is not only the leader of the defense but he is the leader of the team....offensive line, defensive line, WR's, and even some of the coaches.. it doesn't matter...they all listen to him and look to him for leadership....pretty sure Ray Lewis is that guy for the Ravens also. From what I can tell, Beason has the potential to be the team leader.

if thats is the case that is stupid to waste a high draft pick on a bench warmer..i think connor will start some were on the line
