Yeah, at least they're looking like they enjoy it and it wasn't something they were MADE to do.

I agree, but personally I don't care if they enjoy it at all, it's good for the community. I think it's meant to be fun all around for the kids, for the rookies, and for the vets laughing at the rookies.

I don't think anyone will ever top Sean Tufts "Hippo Ballerina" costume

Wish I could find a picture of Travelle Wharton's "Travellvis" costume. That one was great too.

It's a great boost for a bunch of kids that need something to smile about... kudos to the Panthers for doing this.

I would love to see some of the bigger name guys participate like Smitty, Beason and DeAngelo. I know this is a rookie thing, but think about how much cooler it would be for the kids if it was the big-ticket guys coming to see them.

Having said that I know Smitty, Beason and DeAngelo do plenty of charity work in the community so I'm not trying to knock them for that.

Didn't really look pissed to me. Might have just caught him unprepared.

Where in the hell do these guys get off visiting sick children in the hospital? I might be wrong, but I bet they're not showing film on the Rams there!

I bet they went out for pancakes and movies afterwards, right?

They show films on the hospital walls while the guys are talking to the kids. They just have to multitask.

Yeah and I've seen him enough times in person to know that he always looks pissed-off.

So do I, honestly, but I'm a grumpy old man so it works for me

    • I didn't say that I grouped kids and dogs in the same category, you assumed that. Of course I value my kid's life over my dog's, but I'll value the life of either over the life of someone threatening them. Seems like the pro-Vick/anti-dog crowd can't help themselves to try to bend over backwards to create arguments that haven't actually been made. As for your property statement, yes dogs are property that can be bought and sold, but I bet no one's ever been sent to prison for abusing couches. Dogs certainly have more protection under the law than standard property. You're free to place whatever value on a dog's life that you will. You'll notice that I haven't tried to lecture anyone on how they should view a dog, I'm simply stating my own personal views.
