I don't really care about this season because we obviously are not going to go to the playoffs. However I love my team and even though I spent a lot of money on NFL sunday ticket I will still watch every game because I am a panther fan. Win or lose this will always be my team. Am I pissed? obviously.

Stop defending JR. He doesn't care about the fans. He never has. Case in point? NFL logo in the middle of the field. Case in point? Boring stadium atmosphere, not allowing people to stand, etc. Case in point? Putting out a mediocre team every other year and never winning back to back. Case in point? Raising the ticket prices on PSL owners when he's throwing an INFERIOR product onto the field (even if it's strategy, who cares). Case in point? Letting a coach put Jake out there years after his prime. Case in point? Keeping a coach around who puts out a out-dated offense on the field for too many years when the league has evolved. Case in point? Hiring Browns staff castaways and expecting them to do anything.

We can debate about how much Fox sucks, this or that, or whatever, but it all rolls to JR. The fact is, problems with this team aren't new, we seen these coming from along way, and no one did anything.

He's going to make tons of money regardless of winning. I mean, half the stadium are the OTHER teams fans when they come to play us. Why care?

Why care? He's still making a ton of money, and that's his main focus, obviously, with his latest stance on things.

So if he fixes this team next year, which I doubt, spends money where needed, which I doubt, then maybe he'll redeem himself. I just haven't seen anything the last 8 years to make me think he cares about the fans.

Say what you want about Jerry Jones, and yeah, the Cowboys aren't doing well right now, but they usually have a competitive team yearly. He cares about the fans too. I hate them but that's how it is.

What BS.

yes, some of us choose to stick with the team through the bad times, because it makes the good times that much sweeter. guys like SMF complain to no end about the quality of the panthers' fanbase... and yet they are the ones that just give up on the team when the going gets rough.

The reason why the good times seem sweeter is because they happen so very rarely.

And for the record, I rarely ever complain about the fans. I made a rare exception when I went off on the fans last week for booing the team into the locker room after having their best half of the season though. That was just stupid.

If you don't care, why are you here?

To give you people something to talk about.

You name-call people who are loyal fans ... who are fans "because they are."

Again, you're not a fan, you don't care, why are you here ... to name-call those of us who are?

Right okay. So because I hate losing to the point where I want those that are the root cause of the losing out of here gone, I'm "not a fan". Aren't we passed this? This isn't 2007 anymore kiddo.

Oh, lord ... I'm probably old enough to be your mother, so stop with the "kiddo" crap.

You're not trying to get to the root of anything ... you're blasting those of us who are still fans, who still care. None of us is saying we're happy, by the way.

I still care. Always will.

I rooted to the end of the 2001 season. I'll do the same with this one even if it's that bad.

this.this.this.this. i don't understand how you people who just like me devote so much of your time to the Panthers can just give up mid-season after waiting so many months for football season to start. Insane

Still rooting for our team. Still care about this season and this team as a whole. Pretty tired of hearing our own fans trash our team every week and jump onto other team's bandwagons.

Also, exactly what Panthers8192 said. I waited too long for football season and love this team too much to just give up so easily. Especially with a looming possibility of a lockout, Id like to soak in pretty much all of this season that I can.

Won't be going anywhere. See you all at the Saints game next week.

Have any of you that are soooo bunched up over the losing ever considered the fact that you'd be doing yourself a favor if you just jumped from team to team each year and pulled for whoever was on top? You could say things like "I'm a fan of excellence" and "I don't love any team more than I love the purity of the game" and "I'm not a front runner, I'm an unrestricted free agent".

Seriously, calm down. Maybe take a weekend off and find something else to do.
