Do you really think we can "take our country back" to the 1800s in just one day?

For the civic-impaired...the new congress doesn't get sworn in until January 2011.

Fwiw, the country really isn't broke. I do think the economic engine needs a new set of plugs and an oil change though.

all the republicans need to do is say that they need a supermajority in congress, a rep in the white house, and 6 years of time for real change to take place and they'll be golden.

Actually, all the Republicans need to do is filibuster anything left of "The Where is Barack Hussein's Birth Certificate Act", then blame it on the Democrats. It worked out pretty well for them this time.

According to that environmentalist bill that wants to phase out coal, we should be able to do it by 2050.

Thank God I went into nuclear engineering.

It's amazing to expect anything different to start with.

But it's doubly amazing to expect an 8 year fugup to be fixed in 2.

WTF?

American's are fuging stupid.

Right last name for the President. Wrong decade. I'm convinced that George H.W. Bush is the source of much of our current problems.

The fug up started on December 17, 1992, when Bush Sr. signed NAFTA.

Clinton had a golden opportunity to stop the craziness. He didn't... he then threw a bottle of powdered lithium on a gas fire when he "re-enforced" equal housing laws by compromising with the banks and deregulated them. Once the "bottle" of good loans melted away, the housing crash began, and still continues.

Unfortunately, Clinton was bought by Bush Sr.'s collaborators and continued the insanity... as did Bush Jr., and now Obama.
