Oh, ARod, Teixeira, Cano, Jeter, Posada, etc. Then you have fatboy on the mound and the best closer of all time. If they put them any lower people would unload on them.

Lines are set to get the most action on either side of the number, not necessarily based on talent.
Which is why the Cubs are often, by opening day, not long shots.
Lots of people put a flyer on "the curse" finally ending, and with that much action the number comes down.
