John Kasay is the last Panther to play with us from day one. He has been here year in and year out. He is a better man off the field than on, yet he has scored almost a quarter of the points we have scored this season. It's hard to believe a man his age can pull that off. But ome sunday at the tailgate there needs to be an salute to our only original Panther!

hard to imagine this season being worse than it is... but all you have to do is imagine someone else as our kicker.

A fantastic career, but sadly it is time to go. A kickoff specialist is something 1 win teams can't afford.

Thanks for the memories John.

He's automatic, and a good man, as well as preacher

nonsense. he's on the checklist to get rid of. Him and everyone but Anderson and Baker. Sorry, until he learns to kick it out of the endzone on kickoffs EVERY SINGLE TIME he is worthless. after all, in the NEW PANTHERS, we don't kick field goals!11!1!

I know... I'm being silly.

There have been a few people here who have said we should have gotten rid of Kasay. I think he's invaluable personally, but they think he is a waste of a roster spot due to needing to bring in a kick off specialist. I think he's worth it.

    • Glad you can point to 1 off season to hang your hat on, when it comes to your opinion.  Doesn't give you much to stand on. What exactly are we crowning him anyways?
    • I'm sure he's learned his lesson not to have a conversation with our fan base because of the way this way blown out of context. He didn't ask a question. He didn't imply anything. However, the same fans that only read headlines and then share posts on Facebook (without reading the article) decided to make all kinds of accusations and assumptions about this. So yeah....Bill should be more clear because we aren't very smart.  Edit: FYI...."if picked up" is not a question it's a statement. Should he have just assumed instead?
    • Nate Silver did an analysis on this, and not sure which party it would benefit more but what he did say was that it would likely hurt GOP more to pass it than for it to fail That is how unpopular this bill was
