I didnt' say to outlaw it, I'm just saying people should really be forced to really think about what they are doing. My views changed a lot after becoming a parent. It's not hard to find someone to adopt a baby for instance.

Going by the letter of the law abortion should be treated no differently than an ingrown toenail operation. There is no onus on the government to "force someone to really think about what they're doing". In fact, that sounds quite Nanny State-ish if I say so myself.
