Yeah, the gov't purchasing tons of tanks, plains, ammunition, etc did it.

Definitely NOT gov't spending. Just gov't buying.


Brilliant.

Right now the gov't could buy tons of all that crap and just drive it into the ocean and the country would still get a jumpstart from it.

what? unemployment was at 2% in 1938, and economic indicators were at pre depression levels in 1936.

they didn't start selling bonds until 1940, and then didn't institute the draft until the beginning of 1941

how much a 98% employment rate ended whatever you want to call the great depression depends on what you think the great depression was
