If you needed another reason to love Andrew Luck

Also, Stanford has great play calling. They mix in smash mouth football, with a pro style scheme but also are very creative with their plays especially moving Owen Marecic FB around and getting him into positions to block for RB and WR's on screens.

Luck with a 50 yard bomb, great catch by the WR.

Harbaugh runs a 3-4 on defense. Wonder if he would change things up his first year or start off with a 4-3 / 3-4 Hybrid defense kinda like Arizona did.

His DC is Vic Fangio, the guy who was the first Panthers DC under Dom Capers.

Harbaugh only started running the 3-4 this season, though. Prior to that his defenses were 4-3. I wouldn't assume he's tied to that alignment.

Luck reminds me of Michael Phelps..

In the face, yeah.

As a quarterback, I'd say Jim Kelly.

Is a forearm shiver legal in the NFL?

How much grief do you think those defensive guys are getting from their buddies?

i don't think it's legal. at the very least it's on it's way out and on peter king's list of most vile things humanity does.

those defensive guys, though....it's one thing to get knocked over by cam newton, but andrew luck? maybe it isn't too bad because he is a hoss. still...it's a QB. thats got to be bad. it's not as bad as getting knocked out by the punter, but it's bad.

The more I watch this kid the more I start agree with the "toss the rest of our season" crowd. Every time I see him play I just come away more and more impressed. The guy blends perfectly size, arm, decision making, leadership, and surprising mobility. This is the one draft pick that could be worth the endless torture that has been the 2010 Carolina Panthers.

More proof? Check out his game against USC last year.

That video against USC, he is a redshirt Freshman.

Jim Harbaugh compared him to Tom Brady before he even played a game in college. That is what made me take notice and I promise, right when I saw him, I was a believer.

He reminds me of a blend of Phillip Rivers, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

Could you imagine the NFC south QB in 2 or 3 years with

Josh Freeman

Drew Brees

Andrew Luck

Matt Ryan.
