in short, he looks god awful. halfway decent pocket presence and poise, but atrocious ability to read defenses and his balls are way off target. his throwing motion looks pretty bad too... long and sweeping, gives defensive backs plenty of time to jump a route when they seem him telegraphing the pass.

i am not an expert on quarterback analysis by any stretch, but cleveland's defense has to be absolutely drooling at the possibility of this guy starting sunday. he makes brian saint pierre look like an all-pro.

With half the random stuff that SMF chucks out around here, I'm sure he could do better chucking the ball than these shemos.

Wow, I'm actually sorry I watched those "highlights". Let's hope this guy never actually sees the field in a Panthers uniform.

At this point, it's like Fox and Richardson are playing chicken, each just waiting for the other to veer away first. The problem is, we, the fans, are in the passenger seat whether we want to be or not.

i don't know...he looks like he fits in our system really well.

i mean all you have to do is look like a dear caught in headlights, look around, and throw it to the other team, right?

i think he could start this week and do as well as anyone else has with that plan.

They just got some more depth as another excuse to not play Edwards at QB

Definitely the most boring year of QB names for the Panthers.

Moore
Clausen
Pike
St. Pierre
Null
Cantwell

Here are their parody names:

Matt Moore Interceptions
Jimmy Clausen Pickles
Tony how'd you know about my Pike
Hunter Can't-play-Well
Brian Daddy St. Pierre
Keith Null our chances at winning
