Great thread...

Remember when cotswold had an actual indoors mall with a food court?

Remember when Eastland was the nice mall and southpark was a small mall?

Remember when the hwy 51 corridor was all farmland?

I remember old Cotswold...Spoons was there!

Some more:

-When Park Rd. was 2 lanes near South Meck and ended right at 51

-The area behind Raintree before 485 and all that crap development...I remember a lot of horse farms and stuff

-Lake Norman before the Peninsula was built...My family had a boat at the Boat Rack in the late 80s early 90s

-Field trips to the Eastland Mall ice rink

-The old movie theater that was behind South Park on the Barclay Downs side

when I think of more, I'll post em :)

nostalgic thread haha

Weenieroast ftw haha

Anyone remember Paul Shadd & Claribe Lane? I don't think that was that long ago

And Jeff Johnson hahahaha That guy was soo annoying.

Do you remember....
Planet Grill on East Blvd, across from that Greek chain and adjoined with Caribou Coffee? They served a mongolian buffet.
Got any others?

I would go there a lot actually haha. I went to St. Pat's when I was a kid and would go there after school sometimes

I'm pretty sure you were hatched.

Is that because you were somehow involved, how else would you know that

Spoons at Cotswold was awesome, and the one on 7th.

You could smoke inside South Park
Midtown Square was Charlottetown Mall (with the DMV that was always empty)
49 by the university was 2 lanes
Independence was just a regular road and had Quincy's and the almighty Krispy Kreme at Hawthorne

Media Play

Yes. I made one of the worst concoctions known to man, and my dad made me eat it anyway because it cost like $18.

Allstars and Spoons, bitch.

Remember Park Place Pharmacy?

Remember EC Griffith and LC Caudle Little League fields on Randolph Rd?

AllStars was where I got all my pogs and baseball cards. What the hell was the point of pogs. They also had that awesome candy machine thing with the arm that I wasted lots of $ on.

Put the fields in my post too. My brother played on those fields. There's only that one left now. Well, 2 if you count the ones on the corner.
